Assassin's creed... the review
After gaming for such a long time.....i guess i am quite qualified to give a review of the ASSASIN's CREED.....well where do we start
the story starts with a bartender with the name of i forgot what being held captive at a strange laboratory by a mad scientist and his assistant...well.. youd wonder why cant erm.. some guy run away from a lab when there are only 2 unarmed personnel guarding him.. beats me.. well.. anyway.. i am sure most of you have seen the game posters featuring a hooded guy with a bunch of knife hanging on his back...and the first time i started playing this game... i thought i was playing the wrong game..@@... the poster gave me some ancient lord of the rings feel but now im stuck in a lab!??!... well...thats the amazing part... mad scientist has found a way to allow humans to live in their ancestor's memory through some DNA shit...by lying down on a weird machine....so mr bartender happens to be one of the heir of an assasin... and was abducted to allow that mad scientist from some mad organisation later known as "templars" to gain vital information from his past... so .. you as mr bartender goes on the machine.. and continues his life as mr hooded assasin...ok... thats all the story i can tell you... youd have to play it yourself to understand further...in brief.. you would be going in and out of the machine playing mostly as hooded assassin solving missions and going to sleep every night as mr bartender.
Well.. now about the graphics.... STUNNING..yes... i have not seen any better graphics than this..probably even better than half life 2...(havnt played crysis though)...every single detail has been polished to perfection...the 3D world is an amazing sight...beggars beg for money in a very annoying way...drunkards go around hitting you...for no particular reason and guards bully citizens...lol...people giving speeches on the streets.."curse the christian king and his army of infidels"..."al mualim is gracious"..or something like that..Lol
the most exciting part of this game is to parkour in ancient jerusalem.. you can actually climb almost anything as long as there is a ledge for you to grab on to..running from pursuers are so much fun when you are flying above rooftops.. jumping on poles through alleys...knocking through stalls..
The fighting mechanics are pretty fun too...you can counter.. step.. dodge.. attack.. parry and do all sorts of grotesque moves to kill your opponents....yuckz~~
Lol...and you can take on 10-20 guards with no problem...fighting on top of a horse is pretty interesting too... oh.. i forgot to mention... ahh... horse riding..LoL... fun
ok.. now for the bad part
IT IS TOO BORING
your missions hardly vary from grab flags, save 100 of citizens all around different cities @@...pickpocket..interoggate..eavesdrop..then kill kill kill.....why oh why will there be so many citizens in distress.........i have totally no idea...after the 3rd of 4th mission.. you would really get bored with the game...
it is totally unrealistic... guards cant identify a person wif KNIVES on his back as an assasin...you can blend into scholars.. which appear around town always in groups of 4 so conveniently for you to hide between them....and they wont ring the bell unless you attack your primary target.. u can kill the whole city's citizens without causing much commotion...
ahh...well the ending?... totally surprising.. i would leave that for you to speculate...overall?... davincci + matrix + boredom = MUST PLAY + dont expect much
heard that this would be a trilogy.. hope the 2nd one would look better?...haha
